Applications Are Now Open

We are pleased to announce that applications for the 2024 Māori Community Suicide Prevention Fund are now open, and will close on Tuesday 29th October 2024. This fund is designed to support Māori communities in their efforts to prevent suicide and promote mental health and wellbeing.
 
The Māori Community Suicide Prevention Fund aims to empower whānau, hapū, iwi, and Māori providers to create community-led solutions that strengthen resilience, mental health, and cultural identity. The fund encourages projects that use culturally relevant practices, including tikanga Māori, to deliver impactful, sustainable suicide prevention strategies.

The fund encourages innovative approaches grounded in Te Ao Māori, with an emphasis on whānau, hapū, and iwi collaboration.
