The kaupapa of Rangatahi Ora is to support wellbeing for Rangatahi through youth leadership.
There are many rangatahi throughout Aotearoa leading projects in their communities,

to create better outcomes and opportunities for rangatahi.

MAURI TAHI
National Rangatahi Advisory

Mauri Tahi, The National Rangatahi Advisory Group, provide and promote an authentic rangatahi voice in kaupapa that effect Rangatahi.  Providing leadership and connectivity throughout Aotearoa (NZ), Mauri Tahi members are all Rangatahi who have leadership qualities and provide guidance, to prevent suicide and/or provide insights on ways to respond appropriately when a rangatahi is in distress.

Key strategies include:

  • Building rangatahi peer capacity and capabilities
  • Identifying key areas of focus and initiating action
  • Contributing to and supporting rangatahi led projects in communities, events, conferences and summits

Rangatahi Ora aims to reduce suicide through strengths focused activites, supporting groups and organisations to build capacity amongst rangatahi to navigate and maintain wellness.  

RAUEMI/ RESOURCES

Ngā Uri Whakatipu, rangatahi, creatives and health professionals have worked together to develop a variety of kaupapa Māori resources, focused on building and empowering rangatahi Māori.
