Rangatahi Ambassadors
The National Rangatahi Ambassadors promote an authentic rangatahi voice in leadership and connectivity to build resilience against rangatahi self-harm and suicide in New Zealand. The rōpū represent the voices of rangatahi in finding the solutions and strategies needed to build resilience among rangatahi, parents, and their whānau to prevent suicide and respond appropriately.
Key strategies include:
- Building rangatahi peer capacity and capabilities
- Identifying key areas of focus and initiating action
- Contributing and supporting rangatahi led projects in communities, events, conferences and summits
