Maranga Mai is a united platform for change, leadership, and collaboration encouraging active participation and involvement.
This is a rangatahi focussed, whānau-centric concept and an opportunity for youth, whānau and community to engage and participate in cultural, creative and physical activities that promote connection, resilience and wellbeing. The areas we reach are Motueka – Te Tauihu, Kawatiri – Te Tai Poutini, Ōtepoti – Otākou, Tāhuna- Whakatipu, and Waihōpai- Murihiku. In each rohe we have Maranga Mai Rangatahi Connectors who contribute to and feed our wider network across the South Island. Tumua Innovation coordinates and supports rangatahi-created initiatives, wānanga, events, forums and leadership summits.
